LET'S HAVE FUN BUILDING THESE SKILLS

Children grow through learning and mastering new skills. Our therapists use various techniques and therapies to help children improve sensory processing, fine-motor, gross motor, visual-perceptual, cognitive, and self-care skills. This can include helping a child learn how to hold a pencil, hit a baseball, dress, play with a peer, organize homework, or improve attention. Building Skills for Life can support your family and child by providing Occupational Therapy (OT) services at home, in school, or in our new therapy space in Old Lyme, to build the skills necessary to reach their fullest potential.
EVALUATION
Building Skills for Life completes an individualized evaluation of your child’s own unique strengths, interests, and daily participation challenges. The evaluation incorporates results of standardized assessments, clinical observations, and caregiver input.
